A cosplayer named Mariah Mallad, better known by her stage name Momokun, has become an iconic figure within the anime and video gaming communities for some time now. She frequently dresses herself up as various characters from either anime or video gaming titles and streams them onto YouTube and Twitch for streaming purposes. Though she has fans within these communities, some individuals dislike her. Recently, an online video surfaced accusing Momokun of sexually harassing people at conventions.

At the LVL Up expo, a popular event for cosplayers and video game enthusiasts alike, Momokun was playing Truth or Dare while streaming to her viewers when someone unexpectedly entered. Instead of telling them they were on camera and asked them to leave, she instead proceeded to grope their buttocks! Another person off camera immediately intervened reminding Momokun it was live on Twitch.

Momokun received numerous complaints of Momokun grabbing them inappropriately, pulling their top down or touching sensitive areas inappropriately, which caused her to lose both her meet and greet spot at the expo as well as Dere Love Club sponsorship for a booth she sponsored at Creators Guild’s convention booth. Soon thereafter Creators Guild ended its sponsorship deal as well.

Since that day, she has become more subdued. While still creating content for her audience, the majority of it now takes place via Instagram and her subscription service called OnlyFans; subscribers pay just $10 monthly to view her sets of cosplaying and other kink content.
